If you are trying to add new or replacement devices to your Eargo app or update your device Software and have inserted either two hearing devices from different generations (e.g. one Eargo 7 and one Eargo SE) or two hearing devices for the same side (e.g. two left Eargo 8s), the Eargo app will display the following error:
Rest assured, this is an easy fix. Simply ensure both hearing aids inside your charger are from the same Eargo generation and that you have one marked with an "L" for left and the other marked with an "R" for right. If you've gotten your Eargos mixed up and aren't sure what you're looking at, use the "Get Device Info" tool in the Devices menu to help you sort it out. Learn more here.
