Essential Mobile App update - COMING SOON!
After the recent update to Eargo app version 5.2.0, some Eargo SE customers are experiencing an unexpected issue. Although this problem is specific to Eargo SE devices, our app was designed to support all Eargo products. To resolve this as quickly as possible, we'll be releasing another update that reverts the app to a previous, stable version which all customers will need to install.
What happened?
After resetting the Eargo SE charger from the Devices menu, the indicator lights on the charger may remain dark or continuously double flash red upon inserting and later removing your hearing devices. If you've encountered this issue and need assistance with your charger, please contact Eargo Support at 800-615-9000 Mon-Fri 8am-8pm CT and Sat 8am-5pm CT.
What should I expect?
If you have automatic app updates enabled on your mobile device, your Eargo app will automatically update to the latest version when it's available for download in the Apple App and Google Play stores.
If you've disabled automatic app updates, you will see a notification upon launching the Eargo app informing you that the version you're currently using is no longer supported. Select "Update App" and you should be automatically routed to the Apple App or Google Play stores. Update your Eargo app to the latest version. Once complete, select "Open", and voila - you're all set!
