What should I expect?
Place your Eargo 8 hearing devices inside your Eargo 8 charger and close the lid. Launch the Eargo app, keeping your charger nearby. You should automatically see a notification appear to start the software update process. Follow the prompts on screen.
If you don't see the notification, navigate to the app's main menu by selecting the 3 horizontal line icon (or hamburger menu icon) in the upper left corner on the control screens. Select Devices, then Charger(s), tap on your Eargo 8 charger, then Software Updates.
The mobile app will first check to ensure that your charger has a >25% charge (a green LED), then will proceed with updating your entire system (Hearing Devices + Charger).

Eargo App 5.2.1: Update fixed an issue experienced by some Eargo customers following a charger reset.

Eargo App 5.2.0: Update included ability to reset your charger from the Devices menu to troubleshoot persistent errors. This new feature should only be used when instructed by Eargo. It also included additional bug fixes and minor improvements.

Eargo App 5.1.0: Update included minor bug fixes and improvements to the resources section in the Help menu and 30-day tutorial for all customers. It also resolved a bug during Sound Match set-up impacting a small subset of Android customers.
