Software Update:

Before starting an Eargo Software Update, the mobile app will check to ensure that your charger and devices have enough power. If the charger or either hearing device battery is too low, the app will prompt you to charge your system.

Once the charger and devices have charged to at least the minimum battery level (Eargo SE = 35%; Eargo 8 = 25%), you may proceed with the update. Please remember that Bluetooth access is required to obtain in-app battery level data from your Eargo Charger.

Program Updates:

Before applying a Program Update sent from your Eargo Hearing Aid Expert (HAE), reverting to Factory Preset Programs, or syncing your app to your devices with Program Sync, the mobile app will check to ensure that your charger has enough power. If the charger battery level detected is too low (Eargo SE = < 35%;
Eargo 8 = < 15%), the app will prompt you to connect your charger to a power source. Please remember that Bluetooth access is required to obtain in-app battery level data from your Eargo charger.
