LINK by Eargo mobile app version 1.4.0 is now available!
What should I expect?
A feature-rich LINK mobile app and firmware update launched on May 28, 2025.
After updating to the latest version of the mobile app, tap the Menu, tap About, then select "Update now" from the bottom of the screen.
Before starting the firmware update, the LINK mobile app will check to ensure that your charger and earbuds have enough power. Your devices must be at least 30% charged to proceed.
Why is this firmware update important?
This firmware update unlocks a greater amplification range for your devices accessible from the volume control and adds voice commands for Wind Noise Reduction, Directional Processing and Noise Reduction sound personalization controls. It also includes additional bug fixes, like preserving Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) when pausing streamed audio.
