Spring Cleaning for your App

Spring is in the air, which means we're tidying up the place! In just a few days, we'll be releasing some minor bug fixes and infrastructure updates to keep everything running smoothly in your app and continue providing you with top-notch customer support.

To finish the refresh, you'll need to verify your account the next time you launch the Eargo app or the LINK by Eargo app once the latest versions are available in Google Play and the Apple App Store. While we recognize that this may be a small speed bump in your digital day, one quick account handshake is needed to make sure everything's in sync.


What do you need to do?

  1. Once you or your operating system (most people have automatic app updates enabled on their devices) has downloaded Eargo app version 5.2.5 or LINK by Eargo app version 1.4.3 to your phone, open or launch the app.

  2. LOG IN:
    If you've previously registered your system on eargo.com and already have an Eargo account, select the log in option and accept Eargos terms.

    1. If you've never created a password for your account and previously used a one-time-code to log into eargo.com, enter the email address associated with your account, then select "Request a one-time login link". If an account already exists for that email address, we'll send you a one-time login link within a few minutes. The link will expire after half an hour, so be sure to use it soon. Open the email received from your phone and click on the link to authenticate your account before returning to the app.

      If you don't see an email from Eargo.com, please check your spam or junk mail folder. If you still cannot find an email from us within 15 minutes of your request, please try logging in with a different email address (if you have one) or contact us for additional support. Give us a call at 1-866-858-7333 or email support@eargo.com.

    2. If you previously created a password and have it handy, select "Log in with password". Next, enter the email address and password associated with your account then select "Log in".

    3. If you previously created a password for your account, but cannot remember it, select "Forgot Password?". Next, enter the email address associated with your account then select "Submit". If an account exists for that email address, we'll send you an email with further instructions to reset your password. The link to reset your password will expire in 30 minutes and can only be used once, so be sure to use it soon. Open the email received from your phone and select "Reset your password now". Create and confirm a new password following the criteria provided, then select "Submit". Once your password has been updated successfully, select "Back to Login" to return to the app. Enter your email address and your newly created password to log in.

      If you previously created a password for your account, you may also log in by entering your email address and requesting a one-time login link as discussed in item 2a above. Either method should work.

  3. CREATE AN ACCOUNT:
    If you've never registered your Eargos on eargo.com and don't have an Eargo account yet, we've got you covered. Choose "Create a new account", accept our terms, then sign up using your desired email and password. Your new Eargo account can be used in all Eargo apps and on eargo.com.
